She actively participates in global Edtech events and is recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator. Paola is the Head of Innovation and Digital Learning at GEMS World Academy in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Session description

Explore the transformative impact of personalized EdTech coaching on teachers' professional development. Find strategies to address common PD challenges, leverage limited PD time, and create an "EdTech Coaching menu" for tailored teacher support. Purpose & objective

This presentation aims to showcase the innovative 1:1 Teacher Coaching Program implemented at our school in Abu Dhabi to equip educators with the support and digital competencies needed for the future of learning. I will provide practical insights, share data-driven success stories, and empower participants to implement similar programs in their educational institutions.

Participant Outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will:

1. Grasp the rationale behind implementing a 1:1 coaching program, including how it addresses the challenges of meeting individual training needs and optimizing limited PD time allocated to improving and building digital competencies.
