Jill Brown, PhD, Director of Professional Learning for CoSN, oversees all of CoSN’s online learning programs. Jill has a BA in Elementary Education and Mathematics, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from New Mexico State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from the University of New Mexico. Jill is a nationally recognized Educational Technology leader passionate about engaging and empowering educational professionals through technology and personal connections. Experience teaching PK-12 students, pre-service teachers, graduate students, and practicing teachers in blended, online, and face-to-face environments. Founded non-profit professional organizations locally and nationally.

Richard Culatta is an internationally recognized innovator and learning designer. As the CEO of ASCD and ISTE, Culatta is focused on supporting education change-makers to create equitable and engaging learning experiences for students around the world. Prior to joining ASCD/ISTE, Culatta served as the chief innovation officer for the state of Rhode Island. In this role, he led an initiative to make Rhode Island the first state to offer computer science in every K-12 school, and created a state vision for personalized learning. Culatta was appointed by President Obama as the executive director of the Office of Educational Technology for the U.S. Department of Education. In that capacity, he led efforts to expand connectivity to schools across the country, promote personalized learning and develop the National Education Technology Plan. He also pioneered new opportunities for engagement between the department, education leaders and tech developers, including bringing top game designers from around the world to the White House to help rethink the design of assessments. Culatta also served as an education policy adviser to U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, and a resident designer for the global design firm IDEO. Culatta’s book, Digital for Good: Raising Kids to Thrive in an Online World, uncovers the challenges with our current approaches to preparing young people to be effective humans in virtual spaces, and presents a path to a healthier and more civil future digital world. Culatta began his career in the classroom as a high school teacher and has coached educators and national leaders around the world on making learning more equitable. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish teaching and a master's in educational psychology and technology from Brigham Young University.

Keith is CEO of the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), a nonprofit organization that serves as the voice of K-12 school system technology leaders in North America. CoSN’s mission is empowering educational leaders to leverage technology to realize engaging learning environments. He was selected by Ed Tech magazine for it’s 2021 K-12 IT influencers. He is Chair of the Learning First Alliance and is on the Executive Committee of the National Coalition on Technology in Education & Training (NCTET). He is principal investigator of the Driving K-12 Innovation series.

Carla Wade is the Senior Director of External Relations at CoSN working with policy and advocacy, partnerships, and professional advancement. Prior to joining CoSN, Carla served as the Digital Innovations Lead at the Oregon Department of Education. She also served as a technical advisor to the US Department of Education on digital learning, evaluation, data collection and analysis and EdFact reporting. Carla has been an active member of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) serving on the Board of Directors 2006-08 and currently serves on the and the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA as the Emeritus Board member.
