Session description
Fifty-five percent of educators are considering leaving the profession early, leading to an increase in employee disengagement and unhappiness. Leaders must focus on rebalancing their schools, re-engaging their staff, and reducing the variabilities that impede student and teacher achievement.
Outline
I have an image that participants will assess and then I reveal the data. This allows everyone to participate in a fun way, break ground with awkwardness, and respond without fear of having a right or wrong answer. There will be a series of engagement strategies, such as trivia (5 minutes), a few turn and talks (12 minutes) , and using the planning tool to organize their thoughts and next steps (30 minutes...used all throughout the session).
