Session description
With the pace of change accelerating and AI causing disruptions, it is more important than ever for children to develop as creative, curious, caring, collaborative learners. Drawing on experiences from our group's work on Scratch and OctoStudio, I will discuss strategies to help children thrive in a fast-changing world.
Outline
10 minutes: presentation of core ideas
5 minutes: peer-to-peer discussions with neighbors
20 minutes: presentation of stories and case studies
10 minutes: device-based activity (tablets/phones)
10 minutes: questions and discussion
5 minutes: final reflections
