Session description

Participants will learn rhetorical analysis skills to detect bias and misinformation in AI outputs and understand how this content can be persuasive and influential. These skills will empower teachers and students to navigate the complexities of technology and better understand the dangers of blindly trusting AI-generated text.

Outline

1. Understand how LLM's are trained.
2. Using a rhetorical framework, identify types of bias in AI Outputs.
3. Recognize how AI writing feedback impacts authenticity.
4. Teach students how to recognize and evaluate bias and misinformation in AI Outputs.
