Session description
The ever-changing world of technology requires us to be nimble and adaptable. This session will explore the benefits and needs of districts to develop a belief statement to guide the district in their usage of classroom technologies to be innovative and empower students.
Outline
The presentation will outline an approach to developing technology commitments in a school district to guide the decision making around technology adoptions and recommendations.
The session will be comprised of a short history (5 min) of how we got to where we needed the commitments and then move into our process for developing them (15 min) while finally sharing them with the audience and providing examples (10 min) of how it has impacted our work and how they could adapt them for their own context.
