Introduction & Framing (5 mins): Overview of the session’s goals and introduction of panelists from the Assessment for Good program and their school research partners.
Understanding Human-Centered R&D (15 mins): Explanation of human-centered R&D, including how co-designing with students, educators, and caregivers informs the Assessment for Good program's work. Share real examples of how learner input shaped assessment tools through feedback loops like focus groups, UX/UI engagements, and cognitive interviews.
Panel Discussion (20 mins) : Co-Design in Action: Panelists (Assessment for Good team and school research partners) share insights on challenges, successes, and lessons learned from the R&D phase, focusing on equity and empowering learners.
