Session description

The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) creates a number of new challenges and opportunities for schools. It is important that these changes be addressed by principals, superintendents, and other formal school leaders, not just technology directors. We will explore some key instructional leadership considerations in this active and interactive session.

Outline

5 minutes - Welcome; Overview of the AI-school leadership landscape
- formation of small discussion groups

50 minutes - Unpacking an emergent, research-based framework of AI-related school leadership domains, behaviors, and support systems
- ongoing small-group discussions and peer-to-peer interactions
- opportunities for participants to add to a shared resource document related to the framework

5 minutes - Wrap-up; Additional resources
