Session description
Framework
A thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006) will be used to analyze the research papers and identify trends and patterns in the data.
Methods
Quantitative (i.e., descriptive analysis) and qualitative analysis of the ISTELive + ASCD 2025 research papers was conducted. This presentation also includes analysis to identify current trends.
Results
The review of ISTELive + ASCD 2025 Research Paper sessions will provide a holistic understanding of the presentations that were accepted this year. Moreover, it can help document current trends and suggestions for future research.
Importance
This is a good time to reflect on the past and present to think about what research is needed for the future. A similar session was offered in past years (e.g., Milman, 2022).
