Event Information
Content:
Students and Teachers will share projects, apps, websites, and examples of student voice, choice, and creativity with handheld devices, allowing visitors to enjoy seeing and interacting with projects across all content areas.
Time:
Visitors can spend anywhere from 5 minutes to as much time as necessary to enjoy interacting with the presenters and their examples.
Process:
As presenters share their projects on the iPads per person, visitors will be able to interact with each presenter, try any interactive components on the examples, and ask questions about planning, creating, and revising projects.
The overall purpose of this presentation is to have our students share their love for everything edTech with participants. Students will share examples of their work, their creativity, their thinking process, and their own ideas for teachers. Teachers will share their examples and templates with participants to take home and try with their own classes. Programs and apps included for examples will be Seesaw, We Video, PicCollage, and more for primary students, and apps within the Google Suite and We Video for upper grade students.
Participants will be able to experience student-perspectives and activities from across multiple platforms and apps; they will receive templates and shared examples from a teacher’s perspective; and leave inspired to try many edTech activities with their students back home.
