Session description

This session will be a hands-on experience where we will elevate prompts used by teachers to generate both text and images. Also, the teachers will learn how to deliver a package of 3 lessons and a test for their students to help develop Digital and AI literacy.

Outline

Introduction of the presenter - 3 minutes (engaging the audience with questions to answer using Classpoint - where are you from and what is your level of understanding of Prompt crafting)

Avenor College AI program - 5 minutes

Write a prompt activity - 5 minutes (engaging the audience, they will write a prompt without any guidance and answer 3 questions to rate how accurate the prompt is, how much they would need to change, how usable is in the lesson)

Learning how to use the PREPARE method of elevating their prompt crafting skills. - 10 minutes

Elevate your prompt activity - 5 minutes (engaging the audience, they will elevate the initial prompt and answer 3 questions to rate how accurate the new output is, how much they would need to change, how usable is in the lesson)

Reflection of the first set of activities - 2 minutes (engaging the audience what changed from the initial prompt to the elevated one?)

Image prompt crafting - using the cheat-sheet 5 minutes (engaging the audience by giving access to my image prompt cheat sheet so that they can generate better images)

Generate your own image better activity - 5 minutes
(engaging the audience by giving access to Prompt elevator GPT bot for images where they can create their first image using GPTs)

Tips and tricks of the lessons planned and test - 5 minutes Showcase the lesson packs and how to implement them by looking at the lesson plans and presentations also the example of 4 tests that they can use in their class to see the level of understanding.

Conclusion and Q&A - 5 minutes (engaging the audience)

After this session, participants will better understand the elements that compose a good prompt for generating text and images.

After this session, participants will be able to use the PREPARE method to elevate their text generative prompts.

After this session, participants will be able to use a cheat-sheet to elevate their image generative prompts.

After this session, participants will be able to deliver the same information to other colleagues or students from their school.

After this session, participants will become more knowledgeable in AI and Digital Literacy being able to transfer this knowledge into their subject.
