Session description
What if there was a way to step back in time and interview those that made some of our most important scientific discoveries? Using NotebookLM students can explore the discovery of DNA by engaging in simulated interviews with scientists such as Rosalind Franklin, James Watson, and Francis Crick. Through inquiry-based learning, students will act as investigators. They will learn to ask questions and analyze each scientist's contributions to our collective knowledge while also exploring how these scientists worked together to make one of biology's most important discoveries. By bringing scientists "to life" through interactive interviews, students will deepen their understanding of DNA structure and experience scientific discovery in a more interactive and meaningful way.
