Session description
How do we safely introduce generative AI to elementary students while actively advancing their traditional literacy skills? The "Perfect Book" project answers this by guiding 1st through 5th graders (and their teachers) through a developmentally appropriate journey to design, prompt, and publish their perfect (accessible and engaging) custom book. At this station, you'll interact with real student work and get access to our targeted lesson sequence that tackles everything from phonics and plot elements to AI hallucinations and responsible digital citizenship.
