Gary Hirsch, Botjoy
Gary Hirsch is a Portland artist, improviser and business consultant. He’s also the creator of Botjoy, a global art movement designed to spread joy, courage, love and gratitude throughout the world – one hand-painted robot at a time. Hirsch painted his first bot on the back of a domino in 2010. To date, he has painted over 64,000 domino bots and created Botjoy murals in cities throughout the world, including Madrid, New Orleans, Boulder and Portland. Hirsh is also the co-founder of On Your Feet, a creative consultancy that uses interactive experiences to help organizations like Nike, Intel and Disney communicate, relate and create with more joy and less fear.
