This is my 23 year in education. After spending 13 years at a middle school, I transferred to the District and currently support Microsoft Products across the district. I love books, chocolate, teaching and all things Microsoft!

Session description

Helping students get to where they need to be online is always a trial. In the past year Academy District 20 created a student landing page which allows for each student to quickly get to the resource they are using in class.

Purpose & objective

Most students have a device in their hands at some point during the school day. Getting students to where we need them to be on that device is a challenge that can take a lot of time. To begin to solve this problem, we created the ASD20 Student Hub. Academy District 20 is a Microsoft District. The tool I will present is a SharePoint site. By utilizing SharePoint, permissions are easy to handle and there is no additional cost to the district. Attendees should walk away with an example they could take back to their districts to implement.
