Stevie Frank (she/her) is a technology integration specialist for Zionsville Community Schools in Indiana. Stevie’s been in education for 13 years in an elementary/middle school setting. She’s earned her masters degree in Literacy Education from Indiana University at Indianapolis and is always seeking to learn more about how to become a better educator for ALL her students. When she’s not in the classroom, she’s chasing around her two boys and marking off travels from her bucket list.

Session description

Explore the AI features of Adobe Express and consider how to implement them into your assessment practice. The exchange of lesson ideas will allow teachers to develop a plan to bring generative AI and creation-based assessment to their classrooms.

Purpose & objective

AI is a reality in all classrooms, and this session aims to empower teachers to leverage creative assessment to make their assessment practices “AI proof”. We will show teachers how to use Adobe Express to have students create animations, graphics, videos, and more. We will also show them how they can integrate Adobe AI Firefly into their assessment practice, allowing students to use these technologies as a creation partner.
This session will be hands-on, with attendees creating from templates provided and then on their own. There will then be a lesson idea brainstorming using a collaborative whiteboard so that when they return to their classrooms, they have some ideas to try.
