Session description
Purpose & objective
The purpose of my presentation is to show librarians and educators fun, creative and exciting activities to bring to their students that are connected to the ISTE Standards. She will explain and show these activities in detail during her presentation.
Participants will also have time to do the activities and be part of a similar learning experience that their students would. I want everyone to feel confident in bringing these activities and experiences back to their library and school too. They will have time to ask questions and collaborate with others, as this will be an interactive station style presentation.
Outline
5 Minutes Introduction: Shannon will describe all 5 of the activities and show how they are connected to the ISTE Standards.
10 Minutes Shannon will demonstrate all 5 of the activities in detail and share how she incorporates these into the curriculum and to support the ISTE Student Standards.
