Purpose & objective
Purpose: How might we provide students an opportunity to develop their digital skills through authentic, project-based learning?
Objective #1
The participant will investigate the Applied Digital Skills platform.
Objective #2
The participant will gain a repertoire of lessons and activities to facilitate the development of digital skills for students.

5 mins: Introduction and Framing the Topic; Tour of Platform
10 mins: Hands-on Activities with Applied Digital Skills Platform: investigate as a student and as a teacher
5 mins: Share, Questions, and Reflection (Padlet)
Attendees will be introduced to Google's Applied Digital Skills platform and given a tour. They will be able to experience the platform as a student and as a teacher. Teachers can receive assistance in setting up classes with appropriate lessons for their students using the Teacher Dashboard. Questions will be addressed and attendees can share any ideas they have for using Applied Digital Skills in their classroom.
