Session description

This interactive session to explore some of the tools Nearpod has to offer for our youngest scholars--virtual field trips, matching activities, tracing options, and so much more! Walk away with templates you can bring back to your classroom tomorrow!

Purpose & objective

The objective of this session will optimize the teacher's instructional time and combine interactive formative assessment activities embedded with academic content. In addition, will simplify classroom management and increase student engagement.

1. Introduction to Nearpod: A brief overview of the Nearpod platform
2. Immersive Learning Experience: Participants will engage in high-impact activities across various content areas.
3. Observation of Integration: Presenters will present insights into how their district incorporated Nearpod activities in early elementary classrooms.
4. A variety of interactive activities will be shared, including:
- Virtual field trips
- Interactive video segments
- Game-based quizzes
5. Best Practices: Discussion on effective ways to utilize Nearpod.
6. Resource Sharing: Presenters will provide resources for starting or enhancing the Nearpod journey.
