Session description

The session description could be: Join us at Central Perk for a 'Friends '-themed tour of Book Creator, the tool that embodies the spirit of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). We'll navigate through the realms of Book Creator's dynamic features, including creation and collaborative tools, showing you how these can be tailored for all students.

Purpose & objective

Making sure that students with special needs are accommodated can be a challenge, especially when some students have not gone through the proper documentation process. Universal Design for Learning can help teachers create a learning environment that is inclusive of all students, including those with disabilities. In this session, educators will learn how Nearpod can help them support their teaching and meet the needs of all learners. Nearpod is an interactive tool that allows teachers to mix presentations, assessments, and class collaboration. Through this interactive session, teachers will discover the various features of Nearpod that can be used to support all students in their classroom. The success of this session is measured by teachers being able to return to their schools and use Nearpod to help all students succeed.
