Rachel has been an elementary school teacher for the past fifteen years. She holds bachelor's degrees in French and History from the University of New Mexico and a master's degree in Elementary Education from the College of Santa Fe. Rachel is also a National Board Certified Teacher, TouchCast Ambassador, Apple Teacher, TouchCast Star Ambassador, Nearpod Pionear, Nearpod Certified Educator, National Geographic Certified Educator, a two-time TEDxABQ Education Speaker, Apple Distinguished Educator, Apple Learning Coach a PBS Digital Innovator, the Henry Ford Innovative Teacher, and the ISTE Making IT Happen award recipient. Most recently, Rachel was a Colorado Teacher of the Year Finalist.

Purpose & objective
