Session description

The 4Cs are a crucial part of any classroom, but they are elusive for many educators within their curriculum, particularly when combined with considerations for accessibility and personalized learning. Google Workspace for Education provides a set of intuitive tools for any classroom to meet learning needs.

Purpose & objective

By attending this session, participants will be able to harness Google tools and applications to better personalize student learning, increase engagement, and differentiate instruction for individual students. Attendees will understand how to utilize digital tools to differentiate learning experiences for students, based on their proficiency levels by the end of this session. Participants will also understand how to utilize digital tools for accessibility and effective communication.

Attendees will leave this session equipped to address individual student intervention strategies and differentiation through their implementation of digital tools. A variety of educational technology tools and applications will be shared in this session, including, but not limited to: Jamboard, Read&Write for Chrome, Workspace, and Sites. As these tools are demonstrated, attendees will learn how to create inquiry-based projects, facilitate greater collaboration, and how to intentionally design creative student learning experiences. This session will conclude with time for participants to create a learning activity for their environment using one, or several, of the tools discussed in this session.
