In online education, I served as a teacher, led projects/teams, and held leadership roles, even reshaping policies and introducing Google for Education. Currently, I'm the Education Technology/Data Coach at Adena Local Schools in Southern Ohio. I'm passionate about integrating technology into classrooms, conducting engaging professional development, and contributing to our progressive district technology plan. As a Level II Google Certified Educator and Trainer, I've been active in GEG Ohio, now part of its leadership team. My advocacy for Google in education is unwavering.

Discover how these tools enhance teaching, from content creation to classroom management. Expand your A.I. toolkit and stay ahead in education technology with us.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this presentation is to empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to harness the potential of A.I. tools effectively. It aims to guide educators in embracing technology to enhance their teaching practices, foster inclusivity, and adapt to the evolving landscape of education.
The objectives include:
1. Participants will explore and gain familiarity with a diverse range of A.I. tools, extending beyond well-known options like ChatGPT and Google Bard.
2. Teachers will gain the ability to integrate A.I. tools into their curriculum, ensuring that learning experiences align with content area standards and are academically rigorous.
3. Educators will be equipped with the skills to design engaging learning activities using digital tools and resources, promoting active and deep learning among students.
4. Teachers will learn how to apply instructional design principles to create innovative digital learning environments that captivate students and support their learning journeys.
5. Educators will develop the ability to navigate the evolving A.I. landscape, enabling them to make informed decisions about the selection and implementation of A.I. tools.
