Digital Coach
Denver Public Schools
Drea Aguirre is an EdTech Digital Coach supporting schools throughout District RE-1- Denver Public Schools. Prior to this position, this Colorado native taught a variety of social studies courses in both middle and high schools. When she's not coaching teachers and admin on creating environments for our 21st century students to thrive, she can be found making memories with her husband, two kids and two dogs, or working on a craft project in those (rare!) free moments of time.

Our unique combination of professional learning paired with coaching offers a hands-on experience where participants explore diverse instructional strategies and discover how to harness technology's potential to foster engagement, relevance, and rigor in the classroom.

During this session, we will:

Showcase impact & explore perspectives: Discover how educators who've completed our integrated PL and coaching program have enhanced student engagement and other measurable and relevant goals in their classrooms. We'll present concrete evidence and success stories to illustrate the tangible benefits. Hear directly from both educators and coaches who've undergone this transformative journey. Gain valuable insights into their experiences, challenges, and successes as they've used innovative instruction.

Provide actionable takeaways: Walk away with practical strategies and resources for planning & implementing a similar blended professional learning and coaching program in your own educational institution. Learn how to design lessons that actively engage students, promote collaborative learning, ignite creativity, and foster critical thinking skills, all while leveraging the power of technology and personalized coaching.
