Session description

What if students could create an app to showcase their knowledge? This is a reality with the Glide App, a no-code app development platform. This interactive session surveys remixable templates but also teaches attendees to create from scratch. Participants will leave empowered with confidence and ideas to use immediately!

Purpose & objective

Participants will leave this session refreshed and overflowing with practical ideas to utilize with their students! This is a student-first, project-centered training, so after surveying the platform (navigation and creation), we will shift gears and discuss practical classroom applications and ideas. After collaborating on an app together, participants will have time to begin creating their model app or lesson plans for this activity; therefore, they'll be ready to roll out this project in the fall of 2024.
