Session description

This interactive session will host E-Rate experts to share clear expectations in an attempt to ease what is otherwise considered a tedious and cumbersome process. With constant updates, changes to deadlines, and numerous forms, we will share timely best practices for the next season of applications.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is to gather E-Rate coordinators who are new to the process as a way to provide support in an efficient way. By the end of this session, participants will have received necessary resources, timelines, and requirements to guide their efforts in submitting for E-Rate.

Outline

After general introductions for about 5 minutes, the first 15 minutes of the session will be dedicated to sharing a calendar and dashboard of upcoming timelines along with the respective application forms associated with each deadline. The next 20 minutes will be dedicated to sharing requirements to support the process in completing necessary applications. We want to leave the remaining third of the session to general Q&A to assuage feelings of intimidation.
