Session description
Purpose & objective
The purpose of this session will be to educate what integrative STEM education is and provide resources to help school districts establish STEM in their school buildings. We will share how we've developed our district STEM plan, as well as family STEM events, district STEM hub, and STEM robotics competitions. Google Sites will be used to show participants what website structure we use to house lesson plans and we will also use the engineering design process.

Intro to integrative STEM education - 5 minutes
What does STEM look like as a district, in our schools, in the classrooms? - 10 minutes
What procedures/protocols did we develop to bring STEM education to our district - 10 minutes
STEM resources, lessons, events, competitions, etc - 15 minutes
"Plearning" with shared resources & walk through building a shell for their own district STEM plans.
