Coleman Brown has served as a Title I Instructional Technology Facilitator for Greenville County School District, SC for three years. He considers it a privilege to support schools and their teachers by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to integrate technology effectively throughout lessons. He coaches elementary schools and teachers through planning, modeling lessons, co-teaching, and leading professional development to support and enhance the incredible work teachers are already doing. Ultimately, his goal is to grow teachers by helping them transform their instructional practices to increase student engagement and achievement.

Are you looking to take your Canva skills to the next level? Are you feeling overwhelmed with designing digital content? Join us as we explore 12 time-saving strategies in Canva, the go-to design tool for educators. We will explore remixing templates, AI tools, Magic shortcuts, hacks and more!

Purpose & objective

After modeling the tools, participants will be able to:
- show how they can use Canva's Magic Assistant to create ideas
- show how to translate text for ML/ESOL students to create more access information
- show how they can use several of Canva's AI tools to maximize their time creating

Outline

We will share our tips and tricks to maximizing our time with Canva. Section 1: We will model 4 tools for about 8-9 minutes. Then, we will provide participants with 2-3 minutes of work time or exploratory time. Section 2 begins. We will model 4 more tools for about 8-9 minutes. Then, we will provide participants with 2-3 minutes of work time or exploratory time. Section 3 begins. We will model the remaining 4 tools for about 8-9 minutes. Then, we will provide them with a little more work time. With the remaing time, we would like for participants to share some of the wonderful ideas or ways they see themselves using Canva to help maximize their time.
