Session description

AI-enhanced learning means we need to evolve or go extinct. Responsible and ethical use of AI should be a primary focus of schools going forward from grades K-20. In this session, we'll discuss strategies and ideological shifts when it comes to embracing AI in the classroom.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this presentation is to address the following when it comes to AI-enhanced learning:
Identifying the biases that exist in AI
Discussing what responsible use of AI looks and feels like
Learning practical examples of LLMs and Image generating tools to use in their daily work.

Setting the table - 10 minutes (discussion on current and past uses of AI)
Bias in AI - 15 minutes (activity around Bias)
