Integrating creative technology in meaningful ways is my jam!

Session description

Explore the possibilities with an engaging project-based learning book study focused on responding to reading with writing and creative technology. Students will ask and answer "How can I write an 'If... Then...' circle story?" after reading books from the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" series.

Purpose & objective

Participants will learn how to utilize technology to have students respond creatively to books in Reading instruction. Specifically, they will create a personal version of a popular book using Pages, Keynote, or Book Creator - all of which serve to motivate students to think and respond creatively about the stories they read.
