Session description

Let's create coded and 3D-designed projects that can be implemented with students in any subject area. We’ll use Scratch to code an animated quiz and Tinkercad to create an artifact of learning. Along the way, we’ll earn sticker badges for Social Emotional Development and Executive Functioning skills. Let’s go!

Purpose & objective

From very simple materials to complex robotics kits, MakerState is transforming regular classrooms into collaborative creation learning environments with diverse approaches, maintaining STEAM on top and integrating gamification, SEL skills, differentiated learning techniques, Universal Design for Learning, Executive Functioning Skills, Computational Thinking, Digital Citizenship, etc. Our model can be adapted to any K-12 group and our programs are meeting the needs of both students and institutions at the same time.
