Purpose & objective
From very simple materials to complex robotics kits, MakerState is transforming regular classrooms into collaborative creation learning environments with diverse approaches, maintaining STEAM on top and integrating gamification, SEL skills, differentiated learning techniques, Universal Design for Learning, Executive Functioning Skills, Computational Thinking, Digital Citizenship, etc. Our model can be adapted to any K-12 group and our programs are meeting the needs of both students and institutions at the same time.
Outline
This is a participatory workshop in which attendants will create coded projects and 3D-designed artifacts of learning that can be implemented with students in any subject area.
