Session description

In flipped learning environments, direct explanations by instructors are replaced with materials like videos and reading students engage with on their own time. This session highlights how to use sketchnotes to connect students with a significant amount of content that's synthesized visually. This method can deepen understanding through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, promoting active learning. Discover why sketchnotes are a meaningful strategy for teaching content, learn about presenter Martha Ramirez's sketchnote design process and get suggested steps for creating your own sketchnotes.
