They have taken on a variety of roles in the field of CS education including teacher, researcher, and professional development manager. Outside of work, Micah likes to send time outside hiking, running, and climbing with friends.

Session description

Improve teacher efficiency, support student learning, and help keep everyone safe online by bringing AI professional development to your staff. At this session you’ll learn how AI is impacting education, and get equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources you need to support your staff in their AI journey.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is to increase the reach of AI technologies in schools. AI has the potential to positively impact education in numerous ways, but only if educators are provided quality professional development opportunities. Therefore, the object of this workshop is to equip participants with the knowledge and resources needed to run their own introduction to AI professional development session at their school, district, or organization.
