Outline

As attendees enter the online room, they will fill out a Zoom quick poll (or comparable poll) on what their biggest challenges are in their edtech systems (evaluation, implementation, or selection)

Presenters will share the problem: school systems bought a lot of devices and tools to meet the challenges of the quick switch to remote learning caused by the pandemic. As schools returned to in-person instruction, many school systems realized they needed to develop or strengthen their edtech systems.

Presenters will share the features of the guide including:
- The guiding principles (alignment to district priorities, equity, and engagement of stakeholders
- Equity pauses
- Throughline example
- Accompanying workbook that teams can use to plan as they use the Guide
- Considerations for English Language Learners, special education students, and districts that are large or small

Presenters will share examples of ways districts have used the Guide to strengthen their edtech systems.
