Through HeatherTechEdu, she provides presentations on AI/AR/VR in the classroom, instructional design services, and educational technology consulting to schools and districts around the country. Heather's commitment to empowering educators and improving students outcomes has made her a respected leader in the field of educational technology. She teaches CTE Web Communications and Technology at PTJH.

Session description

Explore the power of Kai's Clan robotics combined with the power of virtual reality. This new immersive learning experience has the power to program robots and use virtual reality to engage in a spatial learning environment. Join us and discover Kai's Clan's endless possibilities with its latest capabilities.

Purpose & objective

We'll cover the basics of robotics and virtual reality and their potential applications in education.
1. Demonstrate how Kai's Clan uses robotics and VR technology to teach students about coding, robotics, and problem-solving.
2. Provide examples of how robotics and virtual reality are being used to build and experience spatial spaces in Kai's Clan.

We'll begin by explaining what Kai's Clan is and how it's an innovative approach to Robotics and Virtual Reality.
1. Explain the potential benefits of using Robotics and Virtual Reality. (5 mins)
2. Demonstrate how to control the robots and navigate the virtual world using Kai's Clan. (25 mins)
3. Split up into groups and navigate a robot in the app, online and in VR. (20 mins)
4. Encourage discussion about the potential applications of Kai's Clan in the classroom. (10 mins)
