Kelli Cannon has been an educator for ten years, teaching upper elementary students prior to her current role as a Digital Learning Specialist. Kelli is a Utah Teacher Fellow and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, as well as endorsements in Teaching English as a Second Language and Instructional Coaching. She is a Google Tainer and co-leader of the Google Educator Group in Utah. Kelli is passionate about finding new ways to engage students through the use of technology.

Traci Rindlisbach has been an educator for 16 years and loves learning. She LOVES digital learning and how engaging it is for students and teachers; moreover, she believes that digital learning helps students become creators and actively learn all while building those essential 21st Century skills! Traci works as a Digital Learning and Elementary Computer Science Specialist for Jordan School District. This role is her favorite. She gets to help others build their digital skills and implement Computer Science in elementary schools.

Session description

3D printing is revolutionizing the world. Come and see how you can incorporate 3D printing into elementary classroom curriculum, help facilitate problem solving skills, and increase student engagement. I want to showcase various ideas for design process thinking using a design challenge, Tinkercad, and other uses for 3D printing in the Elementary classroom.
