Session description
In this session participants will learn about how I modeled artificial intelligence to students in PreK-4 through fifth grade as a way to enhance creativity. Participants will get the opportunity to see how we used wonderment stations (chatbots and text-to-image generators) to encourage questions, and creativity in our students.
Additionally, participants will learn how we discussed generative AI with our students, and the importance of ensuring that we do not take full credit for work that was generated by Artificial intelligence.
The goal of this presentation is to ensure that educators understand that we need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable as artificial intelligence takes the center stage in our students lives. Our failure to model how to utilize the tool will only create disparities for our learners.
