Session description

This session will quantify student and teacher survey data about the ways in which AI is used for academic and professional purposes. This data will be used to drive acceptable use policy, board policy, digital citizenship, and critical media practices in our district. In an ever changing digital environment, decisions have to be made to enhance student achievement, provide equity and access, and to personalized learning support. In the rapidly changing world of AI, analyzing the data to determine the ways in which students are accessing the platforms allows any district the ability to make well-rounded choices that impact instruction, curriculum, and assessment. From this session, an attendee can see AI analysis of data, sample survey questions, and major takeaways that can be imported into a district seeking to support the use of AI for their district.
