Session description

Join us for a dynamic workshop focused on cultivating creativity for both educators and students! We will dive into engaging exercises to ignite your own creative spark. Then, together, we'll discover new ways to integrate creativity into your classroom and empower learners to thrive in our ever-changing world.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is for educators to recognize their own creative skills and talents they bring to their classrooms/schools. Then, understanding the vital role creativity plays in engagement, life balance, and preparing our students to be innovative thinkers. From there, we will discuss real-life application of bringing these things to life in the classroom.

-Participate in creative exercises (15 mins)
-Discuss current research around transdisciplinary thinking and its impact on our students' future. (15 mins)
-Develop ways to engage students in creative thinking (30 mins) - Creative exercises will be built into this section as well.
