Dr. Sonn Sam, the son of genocide survivors, is a dedicated education leader with over 21 years of experience. He has held various roles, including teacher, principal, Chief Innovation Officer, and National Director of Partnerships. Dr. Sam's work has focused on transforming education from a compliance-driven to a learner-driven system, emphasizing the brilliance of all young people. He advocates for systems that support personalized, real world learning experiences. Dr. Sam holds degrees from the University of Rhode Island, Cambridge College, and Johnson and Wales University. He enjoys family time, physical activity, reading, writing, and cooking.
