Session description

I'm an Instructional Designer at a Technolgy Center. I'm also a composer and writer who works with Musical Writers and creators. And lately, I've heard the same sentiment from talented artists across all categories: "My students are afraid AI is going to take their jobs." My response: "If they're GOOD, it won't." What makes me so sure? I've been using ChatGPT as a "co-writer" for my current STEM-influenced Musical, and I'm able to write in a week, what would have taken months without AI. Moreover, ChatGPT provides the kind of informed - and tireless - feedback that typically requires full-time human collaboration. I rarely - if ever - use the actual words ChatGPT creates in my script, but the collaboration is invaluable. In this presentation, I'll share highlights, insights, and challenges from this project that can be applied across all sorts of creative disciplines. ( I might even sing!)
