Brick Mission: Mexico in Minecraft
,
HBGCC - Posters, Table 32
Session description
Outline
The students will present different scenarios of Minecraft where they recreate different stages of Mexican history and its main actors, in order to exemplify how this can help to teach the history of Mexico in a dynamic way, through some challenges provided on the platform.
They will allow attendees to interact with the scenarios and meet the challenges, so they can see the different functionalities it has.
The 90 minutes will be used to demonstrate different functionalities, but it is likely that there could be blocks of explanation every 5 minutes, with another 5 minutes of practical demonstration.
It is very feasible to make a process of rapprochement with the audience through peer interaction or inviting small groups to give a brief introduction and invite them to try the platform and perform some of the challenges.
