Outline
This session will introduce the audience to the world of mobile app design, focusing on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) concepts as presented by high school students. The session will begin with students sharing their experiences with different apps, helping to establish a foundation for understanding key design principles. In a dynamic "show and tell" format, students will present their app ideas, fostering exploration and inspiration among attendees. (5 minutes)
Next, we’ll discuss the importance of teamwork in collaborative projects. Engaging role-playing exercises will highlight the various team roles and responsibilities essential for success. The audience will witness students brainstorming app ideas that address real-world challenges using mind mapping techniques, with constructive feedback provided from peers. Finally, the session will shift to effective project management, offering strategies for setting timelines and expectations to help guide the app development process. This format will not only showcase student creativity but also provide valuable insights for the audience to replicate in their own classrooms. (10 minutes)
