Culture of Care: Preserving Belonging and Dignity for All Students and Staff

Creating a culture of care improves outcomes for all. We can create this positive culture even with the demands of the business of school using a restorative approach. This requires a laser-like focus on students and staff sense of belonging—a true pathway to equity.

Outcomes:

Utilize quantitative and qualitative tools to assess students and staff sense of belonging. Analyze these data to conduct empathy interviews to glean a better understanding of the day-to-day experiences of students and staff. Replicate positive experiences to create a culture of care and ultimately improve outcomes. Use restorative practices to enhance school culture.
