Session description

Inspired by our Utah-based tradition of customized soda shops, this playground models the mixology of personalized learning. Our "Big 6 Tools" serve as the Base (Soda). Participants blend strategies (Flavor/Cream) to yield a personalized product (Mixed Soda). Leave with a custom "Recipe Card" for immediate classroom integration.

Outline

The session content is organized around the Content, Process, Product differentiation model, utilizing the Soda, Flavor/Cream, Mixed Soda metaphor. Participants complete a personalized "Recipe Card" as their immediate takeaway.

This self-paced playground invites participants to move between the "Big 6 Tool" stations, spending a few minutes at each to mix their custom drink and instantly discover the tool's built-in differentiation features.

For this self-paced playground, the process prioritizes hands-on creation. Attendees receive a personalized digital "Recipe Card" upon entry and visit the "Big 6 Tool" stations in any order to complete their drink of choice. Each station promotes immediate creation of differentiated Content, Process, or Product. Engagement is driven by Peer-to-Peer "Mixology" for instant feedback, while "Ask the Expert" Presenters provide personalized coaching in their "Signature Drinks", ensuring the final "Recipe Card" is an actionable, ready-to-use takeaway.
