I. Welcome & Overview (2 min.)
a. Greet visitors, introduce Discovery Room concept, and explain how 4th graders use technology to study data.
II. Tech-Enhanced Inquiry (3 min.)
a. Demonstrate how students collect and analyze temperature, humidity, and light data.
III. Digital Storytelling & Reflection (2 min.)
a. Show examples of student digital journals and videos documenting their discoveries. Participants scan QR codes to explore samples and discuss classroom applications.
IV. AR & Interactive Exhibits (2 min.)
a. Participants scan a Merge Cube to explore a digital animal habitat. Discuss how AR can extend science learning.
V. Classroom Replication Ideas (2 min.)
a. Share quick templates and setup photos to help educators start a Discovery Room learning space.
VI. Takeaway & Reflection (3 min.)
a. Participants complete a short digital reflection: "One idea I'll bring back to my classroom."
After this session, participants will be able to integrate digital tools for environmental data collection, journaling, and storytelling. They will be able to guide students through authentic investigations and replicate similar models to inspire exploration in their own classrooms.
