A mentor, video editor, and content creator, Jaysen Bass, a recent graduate of Boston College, brings his expertise in storytelling and technical prowess in media to the FableVision/Reynolds TLC team as the digital media producer. While at Boston College, Jaysen was awarded the Digital Media Field Production Best Editor Award and second place in the Leonard Persuasive Speaking Contest. He also honed his leadership and creative problem solving skills as president of Writer’s Circle. Middle School Science, LA, STEAM
Laura Davies is a middle school science, language arts, and STEAM teacher in Wrangell, Alaska. She grew up in Ontario, Canada but has lived in Alaska for 20 years. This is her 17th year teaching in Wrangell. She loves running with students and is the middle school cross-country coach. She runs a year-long after-school club that provides students an opportunity to create documentaries and podcasts. She is an active board member of the Alaska Society for Technology in Education and the Alaska Science Teachers Association. She is an HP Teaching Fellow.

Jaime Donally is an emerging technology enthusiast. She began her career as a math teacher and later moved into instructional technology. Her desire to build relationships has created opportunities to collaborate with students and educators around the world. She provides staff development and training on immersive technology as an edtech consultant, and her latest adventures include Global Maker Day and #ARVRinEDU events. She’s also an author and speaker on the practical use of augmented reality and virtual reality in the classroom.
Carly has worked in education for fifteen years as a teacher and educational technology trainer. Carly has a B.S. in Secondary Education – Language Arts from the University of Cincinnati, is a Google Certified Educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator and has earned a Blackboard Catalyst Award for work on content creation and online instruction. Carly is finishing the last courses for her M.Ed. in Instructional Design and is currently teaching language arts and history courses at the Davidson Academy Online. She continues to develop online courses and content as well.
Lead Coordinator for Inst Tech Programs
Laurie Guyon is the Lead Coordinator for Instructional Technology Programs at WSWHE BOCES in Saratoga Springs, New York. She is the Capital Region Director and a trainer for The New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE). Laurie is also an adjunct professor for SUNY Plattsburgh, where she teaches Digital Age Learning in the CAS SBL program. She is the author of SMILE Learning: Leveraging the Power of Educational Technology. Laurie also cohosts a Podcast called SMILE Factor.
Learn21’s Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Stacy Hawthorne, has over a decade of experience designing, implementing, and supporting digital learning. In recognition of her work in the field she was recognized by CoSN with an Impact 30 Award in 2023. She has experience as a teacher, online school director, district technology leader, and on the industry side of education. Stacy serves as an ISTE Community Leader and on CoSN’s Driving K-12 Innovation Advisory Board.

Julie Jaeger, PD Coach/Consultant, Veteran Elem-MS educator, Tech Integrator, and Gifted Instructor, enjoys bringing "a-ha" moments and higher order thinking via Tech Integration, Differentiated Instruction, Digital StoryTelling, and Curriculum Enrichment using Critical Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, and Questioning. Authored "I-imagine Dares Students to be Their Best Selves" (ISTE Learning and Leading, June/July 2013) and received the 2016 Digital StoryTelling Creativity Leadership Award. Currently ISTE Community Leader and ND Association for Gifted Children Board member. Former Chair of the ISTE Digital StoryTelling Network. Holds an MS in Education with Technology Integration and Credential in Gifted Education.

Allie Joyner, Director of Innovative Solutions
Allie radiates a passion for life. With over 15 years of experience in K-12 education, she champions creativity, joy, and empowerment for learners and educators. Her background in instructional technology, bilingual education, and curriculum design has been instrumental in creating innovative learning experiences for ALL. Her journey took a fortuitous turn when she heard Peter H. Reynolds' speech at the famous Riverside Church in New York City in 2019. Since then, Allie's journey has been a series of interconnected "Dots," leading her to The FableVision Learning Team.
Director of Customer Success, Enablement
Ryan is an experienced educator in both formal and informal learning environments who now works as the Director of Customer Success for WeVideo. With over a decade of experience in education, Ryan has focused primarily on instructional design and teaching and learning strategies that apply in STEM-rich and maker centered learning environments. Recently, Ryan has applied his work in STEM to digital storytelling in his effort to further the concepts of using video as a pedagogy. Ryan is a certified maker educator and holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning with educational technologies from Sonoma State University.

Sadie Lewis is the Director of Instructional Design + Personalized Learning, where she works to develop programs and professional learning around instructional design, technology integration, engagement strategies and best practices. She works with teachers to plan innovative lessons and activities, and provides classroom support to foster authentic learning. Sadie is a Google Certified Innovator, and has presented at ISTE, ICE Indiana, MassCUE, FETC, METC, and regional conferences on design, instructional technology, and professional learning.

Melody McAllister is a mom of five, middle school teacher, and edtech consultant. She is the author of the I'm Sorry Story. Her Growth Over Grades Podcast features educators who are making changes in education. She also hosts a live, weekly bookchat for educator/authors and co-hosts Thrive O'Clock, a weekly LIVE broadcast, with Educator Rachelle Dene Poth.

As a 30-year veteran Instructional Technology/STEM-CTE Teacher from Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Colorado. Teaching CTE-STEM classes in computer science, robotics, video production, Design and Marketing. Teaching in a K-8 has gave me opportunity to create a CTE pathway based on work-based learning skills students. Engaging curious, creative learners, and problem solvers. Tim Needles is an artist, educator and author of STEAM Power. He’s a TEDx Talk speaker, technology integration specialist, and teaches art and emerging media at Smithtown Schools and Five Towns College. His work has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, Columbus Museum of Art, and the Norman Rockwell Museum.
He’s the recipient of ISTE’s Technology in Action and Creativity Award, NAEA’s Eastern Region Art Educator Award & ArtEdTech Outstanding Teaching Award, and The Rauschenberg Power of Art Award. He’s also a board member of NYSCATE and NYSATA, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, an ISTE Community leader and NAEA ArtMediaTech chair.
Nadia Repenning is the CEO and a founder of AgentSheets, Inc., a company focused on developing and implementing software environments for agent-based games and simulations in STEM education. She has created and taught professional SGD development classes for teachers globally. Paul Reynolds is CEO of Boston-based FableVision, which develops edtech/media, mobile games and apps, and Executive Director of the non-profit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning & Creativity (ReynoldsTLC.org,) which supports teacher and student creativity with a focus on scalable, constructionist and maker education tools and CTE pathways. Along with teaching digital media & storytelling at Boston College for over two decades, he is also an award-winning children's book author who collaborates with his twin brother and New York Times #1 Best-Selling Author/Illustrator, Peter H. Reynolds.
Instructional Technology Coach
Charles J. Colgan, Sr. High School/PWCS
Shana Sabourin is an Instructional Technology Coach with an instructional background in Secondary/English Language Arts. She has been in the education profession for nineteen years. Her focus is on increasing teacher familiarity and comfortability with technological tools that help to prepare our scholars for life as productive digital citizens outside of the classroom.
Mark is Technology Coordinator and Mechatronics Teacher at Rangeview High School in Aurora, CO. Previously, he taught Scalable Game Design for twelve years at middle school, and was part of the senior training team at the SGD Institutes, conferences, and the lead trainer for staff in the Aurora Public Schools. The Scalable Game Design initiative made a huge difference in the way that he teaches computer science and the skills related to teaching students computational thinking. This method for getting students to process Computational Thinking is unique and innovative, making a significant and engaging impact via this program for the students.
Erica is an expert at addressing student’s needs in innovative and meaningful ways. She has experience working with students from diverse backgrounds as a School Counselor for K-12 schools. Erica works at the intersection of student support, academic rigor, and social emotional learning. She holds credentials in school counseling and secondary English teaching in California, Arizona, and Nevada and holds Masters degrees in Educational Counseling and English. She currently works as an Education Change Agent with Learn21 and is presenting with ISTE's Expert Webinar Series in November 2023.
Corrina Perrone Smith creates tutorials/curricula for teacher PD and student instruction. She is involved in design, usability testing, and managing the AgentCubes product. Her background is in AI and CS research. She was one of the first to connect educational software to the internet with WebQuest, for which she won a Gold Medal from the Mayor of Paris, France at WWW5 for “Best Paper/Best Application of the WWW to Education.” Her research includes pioneering meta-programming applications for Analogous Programming; Optimizing Large Databases; Artificial Intelligence for Command, Control, Simulation, and Diagnostics for spacecraft; and automatic LAN diagnostics and configuration repair.

Sara is an experienced K-12 educator, creativity facilitator and curriculum designer. She holds a Master of Science in creativity from the Center for Applied Imagination at SUNY Buffalo State and is trained in facilitating self-directed learning and Creative Problem Solving. Sara develops and delivers compelling professional development to lead change and grow creative skills. Her vision is to support creative communities to help people nurture their passions and strengths.
After nearly a decade of teaching high school English, debate, theatre, and speech, I joined the Education Department faculty at Antioch University New England. I'm currently the Director of the Experienced Educators Program, which provides MEds and certificates for working teachers. I advise students in our Critical Skills Classroom, Integrated STEAM, and Self-Designed concentrations. I'm an author, Community Facilitator, and Contributing Editor for Edutopia and am the author of multiple articles and monographs as well as "Facilitating Authentic Learning" (Corwin, 2011). I live in Keene, New Hampshire with my husband, John, and our two rescues Maggie and Luna.
Student Success Coordinator
Mr. Billy is the technology coach at Colgan HS.His career began as a special education teacher at PACE West School, followed as the instructional technology coach at Ellis Elementary School, and opened Colgan High School, a school with a fine and performing arts specialty program. Mr. Watts is passionate about mentoring students to build healthy relationships, developing student voice through digital communication, and working with educators to connect the classroom to impact in the outside world. He is a giant AV nerd and does a decent Cookie Monster impression.
