Collaborating with professionals and stakeholders, I've led expert teams to craft cutting-edge esports curriculums. My leadership spans sectors like QUT and Education Queensland, solidifying my position in esports education. I'm proud of introducing the first Esports Diploma at QUT, contributing to its evolution. The new Australian Curriculum Version 9 and AI's rise magnifies my work at all educational levels. I aim to arm students with skills for esports careers such as management, coaching, and content creation. Upholding Equity and Excellence, we emphasize diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing while aligning with industry norms. I seek partnerships to enhance student welfare. Let's collaborate for a shared impact.

Session description

Forest Lake State High School has been in a leader in esports since 2018. We now run a full Esports Program of Excellence for our school and run competition pathways for our feeder schools. Come and see what we do as Australia's leading esports school #wellbeing #engagement #attendance.

Purpose & objective

- Create a culture of student lead inclusion through an esports program
- A culture of wellbeing among students, teachers and the community
- Run an esports club at school that addresses wellbeing and social growth
- Increase attendance and give a feeling of belonging to students
