Purpose & objective
Purpose:
To showcase the transformative journey of WCASD's fitness curriculum, emphasizing the integration of performance-based tasks in cyber health and PE to enhance interactive learning experiences and student empowerment.
Objectives:
1. Understand the Catalyst for Change: Attendees will grasp the motivations and reasons behind WCASD's decision to revolutionize its fitness curriculum based on a comprehensive needs assessment.
2. Discover the Power of Performance-based Tasks: By the end of the presentation, participants will have a clear understanding of how performance-based tasks can be seamlessly integrated into cyber health and PE curricula to drive better learning outcomes.
3.Learn about Effective Rubrics: The session will highlight the importance of robust rubrics in evaluating performance-based tasks, equipping attendees with practical tools and methodologies for their own educational contexts.
