Purpose:
The purpose of this presentation is to expose teachers and leaders to the endless possibilities of AI in education, how it can make their jobs easier, and how it can help to increase motivation among learners.
Objectives:
Educators will leave with a list of resources to help them get started in using AI in the classroom.
Educators will learn about the pros and cons of using AI as a creator of information, how AI can help enhance feedback capabilities, and how to use AI to detect AI in student work.
Educators will leave with a working knowledge of how to research and grow their own list of AI tools, and how to share it with fellow educators.
We have shared these resources with teachers in our district and have found that many educators are unaware of the AI resources that are available. Teachers have reached out for more information on presented topics, and have asked for further tools as we find them. It is a "hot topic" that is not going away anytime soon!
